At Fortress House, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained with the Belgrade Theatre and Lower Precinct shopping centre on your doorstep. Walk to your classes at Coventry University, picking up a gourmet hot chocolate from Esquires Coffee on the way. After class, check out the spectacular medieval architecture at St Mary’s Guildhall, or browse the eclectic exhibitions at Herbert Museum and Art Gallery. You can head to the Ricoh Arena to watch a Wasps rugby game at the weekend, or go for a leisurely stroll around Coombe Country Park.
Step out of Fortress House and you’ll reach Coventry University in a seven-minute walk. For classes at Warwick University, you can drive 12 minutes or catch a bus to get there in 20. After your lectures, walk five minutes to the Sainsbury’s supermarket to stock up on your groceries, or wander down the street to shop for decorations for your new home at the local IKEA homeware store.
Head back to your fully furnished ensuite room and pack away your shopping; loading your food into the fridge freezer. Then grab your sports bag and hit the APPS LIVING Clubhouse gym for a quick workout. After, you can throw your kit in the communal washing machine and head to your private bathroom to freshen up with a long shower.
When hunger strikes, walk down the corridor to one of the fully equipped communal kitchens. Chat with your neighbours while you wait for your food to cook in the oven. After your meal, you can organise a group study session in one of the communal study rooms and start working on your assignments. But if you’d rather study alone, head back to your room and connect to the complimentary Wi-Fi at your desk.
When it’s time for a break, walk 1 minute down the street to the APPS LIVING Clubhouse and watch TV in the communal TV room or hang out with your neighbours in the shared lounge playing mahjong, pool or cards. Rest easy knowing that all bills are included in your rent, and 24-hour CCTV is keeping you secure.
